The purpose of this section is to help guide you through the
enrollment process at the Nurtury. The following is important
information that you will need to know.Preschool Classroom Mamaroneck, NY

  • Applications are accepted on an on going basis although are often only reviewed in July and September.
  • Our fundamental aim in the admissions process is to find the right fit between the child, family and the Nurtury.
  • Preference will be given to siblings of children who currently or previously attended The Nurtury and families who want a Montessori education for their child.

During the initial interview, prospective parents are given a tour in the evening and the program goals are discussed. During this tour we will show a video of our class during the day as we do not like to have strangers coming in and out of the house during the day when the babies are present.

Once you have decided this is what you want for your child and all paperwork and fees have been submitted, including all health forms, you and your child will come to the Nutury for the orientation and transition process.

This process will also include a visit to your home by a Nutury staff member in order to better understand the child’s home environment and how we can mesh the two worlds.
